About UAnimals
Founded in December 2021, UAnimals quickly became the most prominent animal welfare organisation in Ukraine after the full-scale invasion dramatically expanded its operational scope. The organisation evacuates companion animals and livestock from shelled communities, treats injured animals in its veterinary network, and operates shelters across Ukraine.
UAnimals coordinates an international foster and adoption network spanning Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, and other European countries. The organisation also campaigns against the use of animals in entertainment and advocates for stronger animal protection legislation.
