About Ohmatdyt Foundation
The Ohmatdyt Charitable Foundation was established to support Okhmatdyt — Ukraine’s National Children’s Specialised Hospital in Kyiv, which provides care for children with cancer, rare genetic diseases, organ transplants, and severe trauma. It is the only facility in Ukraine capable of performing certain paediatric surgical procedures.
In July 2024, a Russian missile strike damaged the hospital’s main buildings, destroying equipment and displacing patients. The foundation coordinated the emergency restoration effort, raising funds for new medical equipment, generator systems, and structural repairs to restore capacity.
The foundation publishes regular procurement reports and hospital-specific updates so donors understand how contributions are allocated across departments and projects within the hospital.
